For me, natural hair care isn’t just about styling—it’s about helping you feel like your best self. My journey started with my own locs simply because I wanted to feel confident in how I looked and carried myself. Over time, I figured out how to make my locs look and feel the way I wanted—clean, healthy, and vibrant.

Every time I stepped outside, people would compliment my hair. “Who does your hair?” they’d ask, and when I told them I did it myself, the next question always followed: “Do you do hair for others?” At first, I’d laugh and say, “No, ma’am!” But there was one woman whose words changed everything. She looked at me and said, “You mean you don’t do this professionally? You need to reconsider!” That conversation stayed with me, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. If other people saw so much value in my work, maybe I needed to share this gift.

By then, I’d been locked for four and a half years, and I already knew how to care for my hair. But I wanted to do more—I wanted to give others the same confidence and pride I felt in my own hair. So, I decided to turn my passion into something bigger. I went to school, got licensed, and immersed myself in everything there is to know about natural hair care.
